First Inbound Exchange

Our first inbound exchange with Ambassadors from Dallas was a huge success! Guests were treated to an opportunity to tour the beautiful historic Georgetown downtown square the first day and that evening attend a Welcome Pizza party.
Carol Light is the local artist who created the lobby mural in our new Sheraton Hotel. The artist was gracious enough to describe her process in creating the mural and then hosted the Dallas Ambassadors at her home in Walburg. Carol's home is filled with her creative spirit and she offers aspiring artists workshops in her home studio.
Walburg is also home to the Walburg German Restaurant where everyone enjoyed a wonderful lunch. Central Texas has a long history of German immigrants who brought their distinctive construction techniques, food and customs to the area.
After a morning tour of our beautiful active adult community, Sun City Texas, final farewells were exchanged at the luncheon on Monday and our Dallas guests headed home.
